It is a Deal Origination activity that does not include Execution. It is based on both a fiduciary and a formal relationship. It has the purpose of guaranteeing:

the quality and the effectiveness of the job.
TO THE COUNTERPARTS
the reliability of the proposer.
Add on process phases
The engagement signature or a commitment to sign it. The confidentiality clause allows us to have a committed customer. It also allows us to acquire a possible black list, capable of avoiding overlaps.

The definition of the Acquisition Criteria is a phase of great importance. Their precise definition allows us to be more precise in the Scouting phase.

The Scouting activity allows us to get the basic information (Blind Profile/Teaser) necessary for a first assessment of interest, preliminary to the selection of the Target.
